Waltz & Etiquette
About the program

Refinement is not inherited. It is taught.

We train our community in ballroom waltz and formal etiquette — with dignity, discipline, and grace.

The Waltz & Etiquette Program was founded on a simple conviction: that every man, woman, and child in our community deserves to be taught how to carry themselves. Through public workshops, formal galas, and private instruction we teach ballroom waltz, formal etiquette, dress, dining, and presentation. Our public events welcome everyone. Our courses, private study, and member events are reserved for registered members.

What we teach

Two halves of one discipline

The waltz teaches you to move with someone. Etiquette teaches you how to be received when you arrive. We teach both, because neither is much use alone.

  • The waltz — posture, frame, and the six-count box step, then the turns and travelling figures that carry you around a room.
  • Etiquette — the formal place setting, the introduction, the invitation and the reply, dress standards, and how to host with grace.
