Waltz & Etiquette
The Waltz & Etiquette Program

Grace has a tempo. We teach you to keep it.

Ballroom waltz and formal etiquette, taught to our community — posture, frame, dress, and the table. Public events are open to everyone. Members study with us all year.

What you learn first

The whole waltz is six counts. The rest is how you carry them.

Forward, side, close. Back, side, close. Two measures of three-four time, and every figure in the waltz is built on top of it.

What we teach
A square floor pattern travelled in six counts: forward, side, close, back, side, close. 5 · 6 1 2 · 3 4
The box step · two measures of ¾
